Dana Coleman REALTOR®
Dana was raised primarily in Northern Virginia, although her family roots tie back to Baltimore, MD, where she was born. She visited the beach towns of Ocean City, MD, and Delaware as a child and has always had love for the beach. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to live and sell real estate at the beach!
With both parents having successful sales career backgrounds, Dana’s sales and people skills come quite naturally. She bases her success in real estate on the fact that she has a passion and love for what she does. Her motto is “If You Don’t Love What You Do, You Shouldn’t Be Doing It”. This enthusiasm for home sales is reflected in her customer satisfaction rating throughout her career.
Dana started her real estate career in new home sales in the booming market of Northern Virginia in 1998 working for Van Metre Companies as a sales assistant. She then successfully affiliated with Drees Homes, as marketing manager for new homes for seven years. In July 2006, she received a call from a prior boss with a job proposition to sell for M/I Homes at Sawgrass, Old Landing Road, Rehoboth Beach). It didn’t take long to make that decision ……. "YES, we’re moving to the beach!"
Although Dana just received her Delaware real estate license in April 2008, she brings much home sales experience from her successful career in new home sales. She sold over $100,000,000 throughout her seven years in new home sales, while maintaining at least a 99% customer satisfaction rating. Prior to her career in new home sales, Dana was a restaurant manager for McCormick and Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant, Washington, D.C.
In her spare time, Dana enjoys spending time with her husband, Tyler, and their Siberian Husky "Skye". She also exercises regularly, plays numerous sports, and assists with sales and marketing efforts with their family business venture: "On The Move Detailing, LLC", a mobile automotive detail business.
