Homes for Sale in DELAWARE BEACH AREAS

When searching Homes for Sale in Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach, Lewes, Milton or Bethany Beach, DELAWARE (or any area really, not just ours) I recently have been reminded of the importance of using a reputable Realtor.

There are the important list of reasons that most people know like having good representation, solid negotiating skills and dealing with someone knowledgeable about Homes for Sale in the specific area that you are interested in.

I have recently been searching online for Real Estate in Delaware as the general public would verses as a the Realtor that I am. This helps me to know my clients and how to best assist them. I want to see exactly what listing information they see when searching for Homes for Sale in our DELAWARE BEACH AREAS.

I am shocked providing the internet and online services  exploding with growth in recent years that  information on sites like Trulia, Zillow, Yahoo Real Estate, Realtor.com and other top rated and ranked sites, is at times outdated, unclear and not very thorough.

Having Trouble Making your monthly Mortgage Payments, a short sale may be the answer!
If you are having trouble making your monthly mortgage payments or you are already behind on your monthly payments, a short sale maybe a good alternative to foreclosure.  If you want to sell your house but it’s worth less than the amount remaining on the mortgage, a short sale may allow you to sell your house and settle your mortgage debt.
By completing a short sale rather than allowing your house to go through foreclosure, you avoid eviction and your house will not be sold at a sheriff sale or auction. Plus, depending on your circumstances, you could qualify to have any deficiency waived helping your future financial picture.  A deficiency judgment in a short sale is basically the difference between what the house sells for and what is still owed on the property. You could also qualify for financial assistance to help with relocation costs if you are still living in your home.

The 2012 Lewes Polar Bear Plunge

Every year thousands of daring souls flock to Rehoboth Beach to take a quick plunge into the chilly waters of the Atlantic Ocean.  The entire town celebrates this event throughout the first weekend in February. Since the event planners have scheduled events with families in mind, Rehoboth Beach will be buzzing with many fun filled activities for all ages. The Polar Bear Cake-Off will be held at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. Five master bakers will face off in a competition to make the best Polar Bear themed creation.

A 5k walk and run will be held on Saturday the 4th. It is a perfect way to warm up before the plunge held on Sunday.

The kids will also find plenty to do and enjoy. A ice sculpting contest is always a favorite spectator sport for young and old. They can decorate their own Polar Bear ornaments and get a washable “tattoo” to remember the weekend.

Last year nearly 3100 people took the plunge as 20,000 spectators looked on. This year marks the 21st anniversary of this very popular event. The 2011 Plunge raised over $500,000. All of the event proceeds benefit the Delaware Special Olympics.
